"It seems like pointless acts of vandalism by juveniles
A bar owner has blasted the “mindless vandals” caught on CCTV damaging his property.
Gavin Borders from the Central Beach Club on Bastion Road in Prestatyn captured footage of a gang of youths snapping three of his bench umbrellas.
Now he’s released the video clips to track down the culprits.
Speaking to the Daily Post, Gavin said: “Last Monday between 7.15am and 7.30am, a group of around seven young boys and one girl came past the club and for no reason snapped off all three of my bench umbrellas.
“Since posting the video clips on Facebook, a few people contacted me to say they have had problems with a group of youngsters in and around Prestatyn, who have broken car wing mirrors and fence panels the same morning.
“One man even had a brick through his window.
"It seems like pointless acts of vandalism by juveniles.”
One of the clips shows the teens walking past when one wearing a hooded top snaps an umbrella before fleeing.
Another clip shows a boy in dark clothing pulling at one of the parasols.
Another boy in a hooded top does the same.
Gavin has reported the incident to police and anyone with information is urged to contact officers on 101.
