Merthyr Tydfil,South Wales - The sickening moment a man is knocked unconscious in violent attack outside a nightclub

The man was struck to the head and knocked unconscious

A violent attack outside a nightclub, which left a man unconscious, has been caught on CCTV.
Police are appealing for information after the assault outside Blisters nightclub, also known as Cleopatra’s, in Bargoed.
Footage captures a group of three people walking up from Bargoed High Street, in the direction of Handbury Road, making their way around a white VW Golf parked on the pavement at around 11pm.
Police said they believe a dispute of sorts took place between the group and the driver.

A witness managed to chase the driver away, who then got into a white “new-shaped” VW Golf and drive away towards Bargoed High Street.
The 44-year-old man who was punched to the head and knocked unconscious was taken to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil , and was released later that weekend.
Gwent Police are appealing for anyone with information or who knows the driver to call 101, quoting reference number 613 21/10/16.
