Police have appealed for witnesses after a late-night raid on a DIY shop.
The burglary took place between 6pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday, at Homebase in Wrexham, when offenders gained access to the premises by cutting through security fencing at the rear of the store.
Once inside, they stole five Karcher pressure washers valued at £1,250.
Enquiries are now continuing with the help of forensics and CCTV.
Town Centre Inspector Simon Kneale is appealing for anybody with any knowledge of the incident to come forward.
Insp Kneale said: “If you are offered one of these pressure washers at a price that seems too good to be true, it probably is, and I would urge anyone who is offered one of these for sale to contact police.”
Anybody with information about the incident should call 101 quoting reference number RC16172314.
