Police are appealing information following a report of three men in a van behaving suspiciously in Borras, Wrexham.
Police were alerted this morning, Thursday November 17 to a report that a white box van had pulled up on Norfolk Road in front of a 12 year old girl on her way to school.
One of the men is understood to have got out of the vehicle and made his way towards the child who ran off to a place of safety. The suspect then returned in the direction he had come from.
No contact was made and the child was unharmed.
DS Anne Louise Jones said; “This was clearly a distressing incident for the young girl and fortunately she came to no harm. I am appealing to anyone who saw a white box van in the Norfolk Road area at around 8.15am, or who saw any suspicious behaviour to contact police on 101 quoting reference U174144.”
