POLICE are appealing for information after two men armed with a crowbar tried to rob a Port Talbot corner shop.
Officers say the incident at the Nisa store in Victoria Road happened around 10:30pm on Monday, when two men entering the store and threatening staff with the weapon.
The suspects demanded money, but left the shop empty-handed.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
A spokesman for South Wales Police: "Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at the Nisa store in Victoria road, Port Talbot.
"The incident occurred at approximately 10.30pm on Monday, November 21, whereby two males entered the store and threatened staff and demanded monies. One of the males was armed with a crowbar.
"No injuries were reported and the suspects left the store empty-handed.
"If you have any information, please call police."
