POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident at a retail park.
Cheshire Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward following what is described as an altercation between a man and a woman on Broughton Shopping Park in March of this year.
The incident took place on Saturday, March 12 between 7.30pm and 8.30pm as the two were walking from Nando’s towards Tesco.
Investigating officer Det Con Joanna Barclay said: “This appeal relates to an ongoing investigation and as part of my enquiries I’m keen to speak to anyone who believes that they may have witnessed this incident.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to a member of the public who is believed to have intervened in the altercation.
“The man, who was with a group of friends at the time of the incident, is also alleged to have been assaulted whilst trying to intervene.”
