The member of the public contacted North Wales Police after witnessing the incident.

“We do not get many cases like this but they are very concerning,” he said.

“We do not believe the man is local but we are keeping our options open.
“Behaviour like this is disgusting and will not be tolerated.
“Luckily for us and unfortunately for them, a member of the public got their registration plate numbers, so we have a strong lead.
“Why on earth someone would do something like this is beyond me. It is almost like a game to them.
“These are unusual but clear offences, and we will fully enforce the law against this reckless irresponsibility.”
Cardigan Bay is a popular spot for dolphins as they return after heading north in the winter months.
Huge pods have been spotted off Anglesey in recent weeks.
Sgt Taylor said: “Not only did he try and hit dolphins, he also aimed for gannets as well.
“Sea mammals are very protected. There is EU law to protect them. These jet skis can devastate them.”
