A blaze spread to a house after a car was deliberately set on fire near Wrexham .
A North Wales Fire Service spokeswoman said they were called at 12.45am this morning to the house in Chester Road, Gresford .
The spokeswoman said that flames from the blazing car had spread to the outside of a house and a shed.
She said two crews from Wrexham tackled the fire using hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera.
All the house’s occupants were able to leave the property safely.
She added that police had been called to investigate the incident because it was being treated as arson.
