A Morriston Hospital nurse has been struck off for the "inappropriate and unacceptable" treatment of an elderly patient in her care.
Michelle Ace, aged 44, bent back the fingers of an elderly man and shouted at him during a night shift in June 2014.
She had previously been found guilty of ill-treating a person lacking in, or believed to be lacking in, mental capacity, and has now been struck off at a misconduct hearing.
Swansea Crown Court had also heard that she pushed a patient in the chest after he had urinated on the floor, before shouting at him that he was a "horrible, horrible man"
A Nursing and Midwifwery Council panel said her behaviour in both instances had amounted to misconduct.
A separate charge that Mrs Ace, from Gowerton, had forcefully cleaned a third patient in her care was found not proved by the panel.

Setting out the reasons for striking Mrs Ace off, the findings of the hearing stated: "[The panel] was mindful that Mrs Ace had behaved with wholly improper physical force towards two very vulnerable patients.
"Her actions could foreseeably have resulted in harm to them both. She had also adopted an aggressive tone and inappropriate language towards them."
It also found she had provided no explanation as to why she had behaved in the way she had, nor give details of what she might have learnt to avoid the risk of doing something similar in future.
The panel also said: "It was clear that when Patient A's behaviour was disturbed on the night in question, Mrs Ace lost professional self-control. She applied inappropriate and unacceptable force in attending Patient A. She crossed a boundary from the sensitive handling of a vulnerable patient to wholly inappropriate and potentially harmful practice.
"Mrs Ace exhibited the same shortcomings in relation to Patient C. In that case she was convicted of a criminal charge associated with ill treatment/neglect."
"...Mrs Ace reacted to the situations she faced as regards Patients A and C with impatience at best, and aggression at worst.
"She did not exert proper self-control and lost her professional compass. The panel considered that the public would regard Mrs Ace's behaviour as entirely inappropriate. It also considered that Mrs Ace's peers would regard what she had done as having been deplorable."
Mrs Ace, who did not attend the hearing and was not represented, was handed an interim suspension order in case she wanted to appeal against being struck off.
Speaking after the verdict a spokeswoman for the ABMU Health Board said: "After staff raised serious concerns about the behaviour of Michelle Ace, we immediately contacted police
"We were shocked and horrified to hear about her completely unacceptable actions, and we apologise for the distress her conduct has caused.
"Ms Ace was immediately suspended from all duties when these concerns were raised, and once criminal proceedings were concluded she was dismissed.
"We encourage staff to speak up and raise any concerns they may have about patient care, and we won't hesitate to take appropriate action. We very much appreciate the actions taken by staff in this instance to safeguard patients."
