Fourteen men have denied 45 charges of rape, sexual assault and people trafficking for sexual exploitation of underage schoolgirls alleged to have been passed around for sex at various locations.
The victims - who cannot be named - are alleged to have been provided for sex to men in the backs of vehicles, as well as in other places.
Judge Rhys Rowlands, sitting at Mold Crown Court, said that it would be impossible to try so many defendants together and ordered that the case be split into two.
The first trial will be held on January 5 next year and the second will start on March 9.
A pre-trial review will be held in September.
The case involves allegations that two under aged schoolgirls were provided to others for sexual services at various locations, including in the back of vehicles.
The first trial, to be tried by Judge Rowlands, will involve Rocky Evans, James Evans, Jimmy Holden, Silvester Price, Danny Roberts and Bill Joe Evans.
Rocky Evans, 22, of Old Hall Road, Elton, Chester, faces four charges of rape, one charge of sexual touching, and two charges of people trafficking for sexual exploitation.
James Dean Evans, 21, of Alvaney View in Elton but who was bailed to a Blackpool address, faces three charges of rape; Jimmy Dean Holden, 19, of River View caravan park, Ton House Lane, Widnes, faces two rape charges; Silvester Martin Price, 19, of Ascot Close, Albany Park, Oswestry, faces one rape charge; Danny Arthur Roberts, 31, of Park Hall Caravan site, Oswestry, faces one rape and Billy Joe Evans, 21, of a caravan site at Park Hall, Oswestry, faces one rape charge.
The second trial, to be conducted by Judge Niclas Parry, will involve the remaining eight defendants, Isaac Lowther, Thomas Wilson, Levi Gorman, Thomas Beaney, Miles Berry, James Doran, Paddy Doran, and Stephen Berry.
Isaac Lowther, 24, of Little Lane Caravan Park at Goose Green in Wigan, is charged with three counts of people trafficking for sexual exploitation, four charges of rape, attempting to incite a girl aged 14 to engage in sexual activity and possessing a cut throat razor.
Thomas Lloyd Wilson, 18, of Warren Road, Market Drayton, who was bailed to another address, faces three rape charges.
Levi Gorman, 18, of Ince Lane, Elton, Chester, faces one charge of rape and one charge of human trafficking.
Thomas David Beaney, 21, Chester Road, Pentre, Deeside , is charged with one count of rape and one of sexual assault.
Miles Berry, 23, of King’s Road in Connah’s Quay , faces three counts of rape and one charge of people trafficking for sexual exploitation.
James Anthony Doran, 23, who lives in a caravan site at Maidstone in Kent, is charged with one rape offence, two charges of sexual assault, people trafficking, possessing an indecent video clip of a child and distributing that video clip.
Paddy Doran, 18, of Tara Park Caravan Site, Oil Lane, Liverpool, faces two charges of rape and one charge of people trafficking.
Stephen Berry, 18, of Factory Road in Sandycroft , faces one rape count.
All were rebailed in the meantime.
