POLICE have arrested a second teenage boy after thousands of remembrance poppies were destroyed in Caernarfon.
Huge numbers of poppies worth thousands of charity pounds were trashed at a storage facility on Skinner Street sometime in the week before 10.45am on Wednesday, April 27.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested yesterday (Monday) evening on suspicion of burglary.
The teenager and another 14-year-old boy arrested last week have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
North Wales Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
A 13-yr-old boy was arrested yesterday evening in connection with the incident whereby #poppies were destroyed in#Caernarfon last month.
Speaking after the incident, Sergeant Rhys Gough said: “This was a despicable crime whereby the poppies were destroyed in a pure act of vandalism.
“Nothing was stolen from the facility which means the offender(s) have done this purely out of malice.”
