Firefighters were called to Minafon in Caia Park shortly before midnight after a car was set ablaze

Arsonists torched a car in Wrexham last night.
Firefighters were called to Minafon in Caia Park shortly before midnight after the silver Vauxhall Corsa was deliberately set on fire.
One crew from Wrexham attended and spent almost 20 minutes tackling the blaze.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “There was one vehicle on alight which had 50% fire damage.
“One crew from Wrexham attended and used one hose reel to put out the fire.”
Firefighters left the scene at around 12.18am.
Almost half of all the region’s deliberate blazes – 47% – occurred in the county of Wrexhamlast year, with some branding it the firestarter capital of North Wales.
Among the main trouble spots is Caia Park where firebugs have struck 55 times in the past year.
In February North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Winston Roddick set aside £10,000to tackle the growing problem of arson in Wrexham.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
A spokesman said: "The communities in Wrexham have suffered a disproportionately high number of arsons."
