Michael Cheaveau, 29, of Nunsford Close, Litherland, who was described as the “head of the conspiracy” by Merseyside Police, was jailed for a further 12 months for conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine, after he was given five years and two months for possession with intent to supply class A drugs in July 2015.
Detectives from Merseyside Police were assisted by officers from North Wales Police during the seven-month investigation, which took place between February and September 2015.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy O’Connor said: “This conspiracy involved the mixing of drugs in Merseyside for supply to the North Wales area.
“Michael Cheaveau was the head of this conspiracy, storing the drugs at his home before getting them mixed by Michele Mills and then supplied to Paul Davies for onward supply to others in Merseyside and into North Wales.
“This group have blighted communities in Merseyside and North Wales, profiting heavily from the sales of drugs.
“Merseyside Police is committed to targeting those who are involved in serious and organised crime.
“The clear message today is that, if you are involved in the supply of illegal drugs, you will be arrested and put before the courts.
“I hope these sentences serve as a deterrent to anyone thinking of becoming involved in the supply of drugs.”
