A 39-year-old Prestatyn man has been charged over an attempted child abduction and drink driving.
Following the incident in Deiniolen, near Caernarfon, on Friday, the man is due to appear before Llandudno Magistrate’s Court, today (Monday).
Detective Inspector Eryl Roberts said: “A 39 year old man from Prestatyn was arrested as a result of an incident that occurred at around 7.15pm on Friday in the Hafod Oleu area of Deiniolen.
“Following a police investigation this male has been charged with offences of attempted child abduction and drink driving.
“I must stress that no child was taken from the location during the course of the incident.
“Anyone who was in the area at around the time of the incident and who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour, is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting the reference number RC16076739.”
