A 'Peeping Tom' balances on a window ledge to spy on a woman ... while his dog waits patiently below.
Dylan Glyn Jones admitted leering into the property with the intent of getting a sexual kick out of it.
The incident, in Abersoch, was caught on a "stealth camera" fitting to the house in the seaside village.
It was fitted after reports of someone having been seen "prowling in the garden".
At Caernarfon magistrates court on Monday, Jones, 26, pleaded guilty to “attempting to observe a person doing a private act for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, knowing that the person did not consent”.
Prosecutor Diane Williams told the court that in March, the owner of the house that was being rented out went and saw a man near a car outside who was “staring”.
She ran back towards the house and left immediately.
Ms Williams said a neighbour had then set up the camera.
She said nothing happened during the first week but in the second week the camera took images of Jones standing on a windowsill and looking into the house.
Jones was arrested and told police he’d “lost” his dog and he was “retrieving” it when he’d seen a “nude woman” inside the house and he’d gone back to see if he could see her again.
Tudur Owen, defending, said Jones wanted to apologise to “all concerned”.
A probation officer’s report said Jones, who has a partner and two young children, “should have known better”. Former builder Jones had been unemployed for three years, he said.
He was sentenced to a 12-month community order to include 20 days one-to-one with an offender manager, 100 unpaid hours and a three month 7pm-8am curfew.
