A Wrexham teenager has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Telmo Bernardo, 18, of Glan Gors, was charged on Friday (January 29) and appeared at Telford Magistrates’ Court the following day.
It relates to an incident in Castlefields, Oswestry, on Saturday, January 23, in which a man sustained serious stab wounds.
Bernardo was remanded in custody to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on February 8.
A 19-year-old man from Wrexham and a 51-year-old male from Welshpool were last week arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and have since been released on bail while police enquiries continue.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 603s of 23 January 2016.
“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers .”
