Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly claimed to be carrying a knife in a Flintshire discount store.
The incident happened in the Poundstretcher shop on Flintshire Retail Park.
According to investigating officers, when staff challenged the man over his behaviour he claimed to have a knife on him.
Nobody was hurt during the incident on Tuesday afternoon, and officers say they are looking to identify a man captured on CCTV.
A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 2.11pm on February 2 to reports one of five people who had entered Poundstretcher in Flint was acting suspiciously.
"That person was challenged and intimated he had a knife.
“We are seeking to identify the person.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting reference number U016206.”
