South Wales - BREAKING: Man, 44, arrested on suspicion of murder after body was found in Briton Ferry

A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body in Briton Ferry.
South Wales Police offices were called to Thomas Street at 9.45am this morning. The area was cordoned off for most of the as forensic examinations continued. As of 4.20pm, it has been reopened.
The 44-year-old man is currently in custody at Swansea Central Police Station. An incident room has been set up at Sandfields Police Station.
Detective Superintendent Paul Hurley of the South Wales Police Specialist Crime Investigations Team said: "We are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in a lane behind Thomas Street, at the rear of Briton Ferry Workingmen's Club.
