POLICE are appealing for information after a bag was stolen from a train at Neath station.
Officers are looking to trace the man pictured, who they believe could help with the investigation.
Investigating officer PC Craig Farrell said: "The victim boarded the train at Swansea and placed his sports holdall in the designated luggage rack.
"He went to check on his bag just after the train left Neath, but discovered it was missing."
British Transport Police have issued a description of the man they would like to speak to.
"He is described as white, around 5ft 10in, and was wearing a grey and white Lonsdale jacket, blue tracksuit bottoms and light coloured work boots," said PC Farrell. "I believe he will have vital information which could greatly assist our investigation — who is he?"
The incident took place just before 3.30pm on Friday, December 4.
