Colin Lyness of Colwyn Bay and Christopher Stonehouse of Llandudno remanded in custody after allegedly bundling man into a car in Llanrwst

Two men have been remanded in custody accused of kidnapping and unlawfully imprisoning another man in a car at Llanrwst.
Colin Lyness, 29, of Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay, and Christopher Stonehouse, 32, of Parc Bodnant, Llandudno, are also charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and perverting justice, and Lyness allegedly had a knife.
Magistrates at Llandudno were told by the prosecution that the offences took place on Sunday, January 3.
Graham Parry, solicitor for Lyness, made no application for bail.
Defence solicitor Nia Dawson sought bail for Stonehouse.
Both defendants were remanded in custody until February 8 at Caernarfon crown court.
