Lorry was burned out overnight, with two fire crews battling the blaze on the Cibyn Industrial Estate

Arsonists torched a lorry parked in an industrial estate in Gwynedd.
The fire was started deliberately at Cibyn industrial estate, Caernarfon and two crews of firefighters from the town rushed to tackle the blaze at around 11.30pm last night.
The water tanker’s cab was completely gutted as well as its front and side wheels leaving it leaning to the right what was left of its wheels.
A North Wales Fire Service spokesman said the fire was being treated as arson and was now being investigated by the police.
He said firefighters used two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to douse the flames and to stop the fire from spreading to any of the factory units on the estate.

The lorry belonged to cess-pit company and had seemingly being abandoned according to locals.
One man said his wife had heard “one loud bang” at around 10.30pm.
The location of the lorry at the end of a lane at the estate is on a popular route used by learner drivers.
Today, there an acrid smell of the remains of burning plastic emanated from the lorry and it was plain to see that it had been a fierce fire.
The area has been coned off with a joint police and fire service poster put up warning people that “Fires in this area are being deliberately set” and appealing for anybody with information to call 101 or the fire service.
