CASH was stolen in a break-in at a St Asaph hotel.
Police investigations are continuing today after a quantity of cash was taken during a burglary at the Oriel House Hotel, in Upper Denbigh Road.
The incident happened sometime after 1am yesterday morning, Monday, December 14, when offenders entered the hotel and once inside stole money.
It is believed they used a vehicle to flee the scene.
Detective Sergeant Chris Bell of St Asaph CID said: “The hotel is situated on Lower Denbigh Road which is widely used.
“It is possible that other motorists using the road early this morning may have seen a vehicle leaving the hotel and if so, we would like to hear from them.
“Crime scene investigators have been at the location and officers are still in the vicinity today making inquiries.
“We continue to appeal for information and would like to speak to anyone who has seen any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the hotel during the early hours of this morning or beforehand.”
