A man has been arrested by armed police in Rhyl.
Officers carrying guns swooped on a property on Water Street at roughly 7.30am.
Sniffer dogs were also seen in the area and reports said a door was broken in by police.
The road was closed for more than an hour and firearms officers were seen leading a man away.
He is now in police custody.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 7.23am to report concerns a man had a firearm in Rhyl.
"A man has been arrested in connection with the reports.
"He is currently in police custody."
Water Street had reopened by 9.40am.
