POLICE have released CCTV stills of a man they wish to trace in connection with an assault which left another man with serious injuries.
A 35-year-old male victim was walking in Central Avenue, Prestatyn, towards the town centre when he was approached from behind a man on Saturday, April 9 between 8.20pm and 8.30pm.
He was the attacked with what appeared to be a roof tile. He later received several stitches to his face.
The offender is described as white, aged in his early 20s and with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey or white coloured hoody and tracksuit bottoms.
He left the area in a light blue coloured Toyota Yaris which travelled along Central Avenue and then turned right up Ffordd Penwylfa.
PC James Lloyd, Investigating Officer, said: “We have released these CCTV stills in the hope it may jog someone’s memory. I am appealing to anybody who may have information to contact us immediately.”
