Dyfed-Powys Police said that no items had been taken, however they called on people to not leave their vehicles vulnerable.
Sergeant Rhys Williams said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating these reports and will work to identify those responsible.
"However I cannot stress enough how important it is for vehicle owners to make sure they leave their cars safe and secure at all times and especially at night.
"We are doing our best to keep the area a safe place to live, but people have to help us by adhering to basic crime prevention advice.
"Don't leave yourself vulnerable to such opportunist criminals and if you see anything suspicious please call 999 immediately if suspicious activity is happening there and then, or call 101 in a non-emergency."
