Holywell,North Wales - Two men flee Pentre Halkyn crash scene prompting police appeal

There was a spate of weather related accidents on the A55
Police have appealed for information following the crash in Flintshire

One man has been seriously injured in the smash involving a car and a motorcycle earlier this mornin

Police are hunting two men who fled the scene following a crash which has left another man with serious injuries.
The pair made off towards Flint after the smash involving a blue Vectra and a motorbike on Cornist Lane in Pentre Halkyn .
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.40am this morning involving.
One man was taken by emergency ambulance to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd following the crash.
His injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.
The road is partially blocked, although traffic is thought to be coping.
Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at around 8.40am this morning, Wednesday, May 11 to reports of a road traffic accident involving a motorcyclist near the Springfield Hotel in Pentre Halkyn.
“We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.”
Police are now appealing for help to trace the two men who fled the scene after the crash. both of whom are thought to be in their 20s.
One of the men sought has been described as 6ft tall with very short dark hair.
The second man is shorter with blond hair.
