THREE members of the same family have appeared in court over the alleged theft of more than £330,000-worth of diggers and tools from building sites and businesses across South West Wales fromLlanelli to Pyle.

The haul of stolen items range from JCB diggers to ride-on mowers, welding machines, power tools and a jet ski.
Brothers Stephen Locke, aged 26, and 23-year-old George Aaron Locke, along with George Locke's wife Charlene Christina Locke, also aged 23, appeared at Swansea Magistrates Court yesterday.
The thefts are all said to have happened from June 2014 to August 2015.
The Locke brothers entered no pleas to more than a dozen charges of joint theft, while Charlene entered not guilty pleas to six counts.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction in the case and the Lockes — all of Briton Ferry travellers site — were released on bail to appear at Swansea Crown Court on March 4.
Among the items the brothers are said to have stolen are £16,000-worth of tools from a Redrow housing development in Alltwen; a £38,000 Takeuchi digger and trailer from EM Edwards in Llandarcy; £19,000-worth of tools from the St Modwen development in Coed Darcy; a £27,000 JCB digger from Aberkenfig; a £20,000 Takeuchi digger belonging to Wales and West Utilities from Llangennech, and four welding machines — worth a total of £52,000 — from Red-D-Arc welding rentals in Baglan.
The brothers are also jointly charged with stealing a £20,000 Takeuchi digger belonging to Evan Pritchard Ltd from Llanelli; a £16,000 Hitachi digger and Ifor Williams trailer belonging to KJ Hire from Tawe Terrace in Pontardawe; a £12,000 Kubota digger from A-Plant on Swansea Enterprise Zone; a £14,000 Yanmar digger from CP Hire in Swansea; a John Deere ride-on-mower, leaf blowers, mowers and strimmers belonging to Neath Port Talbot Council from Margam Cemetery, and a £2,500 jet-ski from Llandarcy.
Charlene Locke is accused of being involved in six of the alleged thefts, including those from MargamCemetery in May last year.
