Man arrested after woman sexually assaulted in Llanelli
A MAN has been arrested in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Llanelli.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a report of a sexual assault on a woman, which occurred in the Llanelli area, in the early hours of Sunday, January 31."
The Evening Post understands that the alleged incident took place in the Bigyn ward of the town.
"A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this offence and he has been bailed whilst enquiries continue," added the force spokeswoman.
"The victim is being supported by specialist officers."
