Anglesey,North Wales - Woman murdered with her two children believed to be from Holyhead

Geraldine Newman and her children were found dead at their home in Allerton Bywater yesterday

A woman found murdered with her two children near Leeds is believed to be from Holyhead, where their suspected killer was found dead yesterday.
Geraldine Newman, 51, was found at her home in Allerton Bywater yesterday. Her children Shannon, 11, and Shane, 6, were also found dead at the property.
Paul Newman was found dead at South Stack near Holyhead at 5pm yesterday.
Holyhead councillor Jeff Evans spoke of his shock at the dramatic events which followed yesterday’s grim discoveries.
He said: “It’s not something you expect to happen on your doorstep. It’s horrific really.
“First and foremost, my sympathies are with the friends and family of the deceased, who must be going through unimaginable grief at the moment.
“I’m sure further details will come to light as time moves on, but it’s truly a terrible tragedy for such young children and their mother to end up dead under such circumstances.”
