A man who murdered his former partner in a 'brutal and sustained' attack, a drunk driver who caused the death of a 'dedicated' dad and a teenager who brutally attacked and raped a woman in her 60s out walking her dog were among those jailed in Wales this week.
David Nicholas Davies
The 25-year-old was jailed for life this week for the 'brutal and sustained' murder of his former girlfriend.
He was sentenced to a minimum of 22 years at Mold Crown Court for the murder of 22-year-old mum Emma Baum.
Jack Williams
The 19-year-old was jailed for brutally beating and raping a woman in her 60s on a North Wales beach. The teen was high on drink and drugs when he attacked the woman in Rhyl.
Lee Rees
The 41-year-old was jailed for eight years for causing the death of a 'dedicated' dad.
Rees admitted to drink-driving under the influence of alcohol and causing death by dangerous driving when he crashed his BMW into a car driving by victim Terry Hill.
Konrad Dadum
The 37-year-old was jailed for stabbing a friend who poked fun at his bald head. The 33-year-old stabbed the man in the leg with a kitchen knife while drunk on vodka.
Drugs gang
A drugs gang were sentenced after being caught when police discovered dealer's list at a crash scene.
A police operation was launched and hired and stolen vehicles were seen bringing cocaine and heroin to the Mold and Wrexham areas from Liverpool.
