A man walked into a shop in Wrexham armed with an axe and stole money from the till.
The robbery happened at around 6.15am this morning, when the robber, brandishing a hatchet, walked into the Premier Store in Abenbury Road and demanded staff hand over cash.
He was wearing black clothes, a hoodie, white, aged around 20, and around 5ft 6ins tall and of a slight build.
North Wales Police Detective Inspector Lee Boycott said: "I am appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen this man before or soon after the incident, to come forward.
