Swansea,South Wales - Burglar took fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine, curtains and bed - but not the kitchen sink

Mandy Bailey's criminal record was described as "terrible" at Swansea Crown Court
A WOMAN who burgled a neighbour's flat while drunk— stealing the fridge, microwave, cooker and even the bed — left slipper marks at the scene of the crime, a court has heard.
When police went to Mandy Bailey's flat — which was in the same building as the victim's — they found many of the stolen items being stored there.
Officers also linked her slippers to footwear marks in the downstairs property.
Bailey, of Carlton Terrace, Mount Pleasant, had previously pleaded guilty to burglary when she appeared in the dock at Swansea Crown Court today.
Ian Ibrahim, prosecuting, said the flat had been broken into sometime between September 13 and 15, with the intruders making-off with a haul of white goods and other items including a cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, bed — including mattress — and curtains.
Many of those items were found in Bailey's top floor flat, though a number have not been recovered.

The court heard 53-year-old Bailey has 19 convictions for 38 offences stretching back to 1981, including ones for violence and for drink-driving.
Craig Jones, in mitigation, said his client had co-operated fully with police, and that the burglary had been "ill thought-through and opportunistic offence".
Recorder Jeremy Jenkins told Bailey she had a "wretched background" and a "terrible criminal record".
Bailey was given a 12 month sentence jail suspended for 15 months and made the subject of a community order with one-to-one counselling session, something which the recorder said he hoped she would benefit from.
Two men arrested in connection with the burglary remain on bail.
