Carmarthen Leisure Centre,South Wales - Voyeur filmed women changing at Carmarthen Leisure Centre 'to get sexual kicks'

Moore targeted people who had been swimming at Carmarthen Leisure Centre
A MAN who filmed women changing at Carmarthen Leisure Centre on his mobile phone did so with the intention of gaining sexual gratification, Swansea Crown Court has been told.
Christopher Moore, of Heol Wepner in in Pontyates, was arrested after one of his victims discovered a mobile phone on the floor while she was changing in one of the cubicles beside the pool in May.
Prosecuting, Kevin Jones told the court: "She thought it had been dropped, but when she went to pick it up, it disappeared quickly to the adjoining cubicle. She immediately froze and reported it to a lifeguard, but the defendant had left."
The 42-year-old was identified after CCTV footage was examined, which revealed he had been in the adjoining cubicle for 65 minutes, and he was arrested when he returned to the leisure centre a week later.

Police examined a laptop recovered from his home, and two mobile phones, and found 35 saved images, most of which were 'unsuccessful' attempts but some which showed women in their underwear and their buttock area.
It also revealed internet searches such as 'changing rooms' 'hidden cameras', as well as visiting a voyeurism site which include links to 'peeping for nude women', and 'Dr Voyeur'.
Mr Jones added: "A large number of videos had been downloaded of similar behaviour, which begs the question with that much material available to him, why would he add to the misery of others?"

The incident took place at Carmarthen Leisure Centre
A impact statement from his victim said she felt violated and had been unable to sleep for three days following the incident, and that she was concerned he had traced her home address.
The court also heard that he had separated from his wife, and John Allchurch, mitigating, said Moore had adult, heterosexual interests 'but accepts that he has crossed the line and committed offences'.
He added the conclusions of a pre-sentence report revealed 'he was glad he had been caught, and did not seek to minimise his offending in any way'.
Moore pleaded guilty to nine charges of voyeurism and attempted voyeurism between January 2009 and May of this year — the length of time he had been a member at the Leisure Centre.
Sentencing him to a three year community order, with a requirement to complete a sexual offending group work programme with rehabilitation activity requirement, Judge Paul Thomas said: "These are grubby offences. You rigged up equipment in public changing rooms in Carmarthen Leisure Centre and your sordid aim was to get your sexual kicks by recording women in this way. The pre sentence report says you were not always successful, but that was undoubtedly your ambition. Most are not of an intimate nature, some are, but they are not for the want of trying.
"You have a real sexual problem that needs to be addressed urgently. You need to find other outlets for your sexual thrills".
