Armed police have been called to an incident in Cardiff early on Tuesday morning, South Wales Police have confirmed.
Officers were deployed to the Splott area of the city following information supplied to the force, a spokeswoman said.
The incident has now ended.
Members of the public were never in danger, the spokeswoman confirmed.
