Robert William Bailey, 25, had spent time cleaning the kitchen before losing his rag when he saw it had been messed up in the morning

A hostel resident went on a rampage after finding the kitchen he spent time cleaning covered in vomit and blood when he came to cook his breakfast.
Robert William Bailey, 25, also found a needle in the kitchen of Mostyn Lodge, Flintshiremagistrates’ court was told.
Prosecutor Justin Espie said that the hostel’s CCTV footage showed the defendant going on “a rampage”.
He made hand gestures, threw a metal tray across the kitchen, pulled a fly trap from the ceiling and threw a tin of beans before spitting at the CCTV camera.
Justine McVitie, defending, said that there was no manager or support worker present and Bailey lost his temper and damaged the kitchen.
Miss McVitie said that the conditions were not the best in the kitchens and the previous night her client and another resident had spent time cleaning the place up.
But he was angered by the unhygienic conditions he found on his return, was unable to cook there, and accepted that on impulse he lost his temper.
Miss McVitie said that the defendant suffered from stress and anxiety and was now receiving the support he needed in supported accommodation in Wrexham.
Bailey, now in supported accommodation at Crescent Road in Wrexham , admitted a charge of criminal damage to the kitchen at Mostyn Lodge in Mostyn on September 20.
At Flintshire magistrates’ court at Mold, he was placed on a 12 month community order with 20 days rehabilitation.
He was ordered to pay £377 compensation, £80 prosecution costs, a £150 criminal court charge and a £60 surcharge.
