Cardiff Crown Court has heard how a police officer took the virginity of an underage girl he met.
Former Pc Colin Hart, now 61, is alleged to have sex with schoolgirl when she was just 14.
A court heard the former serving officer began kissing and touching the young girl when she was 13.
Hart admits he had a sexual relationship with the girl - but claims she was over 16 at the time.
He added: "The defendant came in to the bathroom and she had a towel around her.
"He took her arm and led her into the bedroom.
"He removed her towel, unclothed himself and had full sexual intercourse with her.
"She was confused at what happened, she was only 14. She didn't know what to do."
Hart, of Caerphilly, pleaded not guilty to one charge of rape and seven counts of indecently assaulting an underage girl.
He is accused of making the schoolgirl perform oral sex on him in his car on top of Caerphilly mountain between 1988 and 1990.
The victim reported the incidents to police in July 2014 - 25 years after the alleged assaults took places
The trial at Cardiff Crown Court continues.
