Nathan Stamp, 22, reached speeds of 90mph as  he led police on pursuit through Wrexham

A drink driver chased by police jumped from his car while it was still moving.
Nathan Stamp left his home in a temper after a domestic argument, and drove off in his car despite being drunk.
He led police on a 90mph chase through Wrexham before pulling into the Brooklands Garage forecourt.
Police thought he was about to stop, but he sped off again. He then slowed down and leapt from the car, which carried on and crashed into a park car which then shunted into another.
He initially refused to provide a breath sample, but gave one at the police station. Stamp, 22, of Moorland Avenue, Wrexham, said his actions were the result of a “moment of madness”.
At Mold Crown Court today, his barrister said Stamp appreciated the seriousness of what he’d done, and made no excuse for what happened on the night of August 30.
The court heard that at 9.40pm, police saw him travel at The Gresford Roundabout too fast and followed him. He then reached 90mph in a 60mph area on The Llanypwll Link Road.
Judge Geraint Walters told him: "What you did was outrageously dangerous," adding that if things had gone "more wrong that night" then people could have been injured.
In his defence, barrister Andrew Green said Stamp was a former soldier who was now working on shifts to support his family.
He was jailed for six months for dangerous driving, failing to stop and drink driving.
