A former Colwyn Bay councillor has appeared in court on child sex charges.
John George Reaney, 50, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court this morning for a preliminary hearing.
The ex-politician is charged with inciting and causing a child engage in sexual activity.
He spoke only to confirm his name and that he understood the charge against him and his bail conditions.
Reaney, of Woodland Avenue in Ormskirk, West Lancashire, will enter a plea on January 18.
