FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a Colwyn Bay garage last night.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a call was received 10.48pm last night (November 22) reporting a fire at the Albert Place Testing Station in Albert Place.
Two appliances were sent from Colwyn Bay and it took four firefighters in breathing apparatus using two hose reel jets to bring the fire under control by 12.07am this morning.
The building sustained 100 per cent smoke damage, 70 per cent heat damage and 30 per cent fire damage, with four vehicles also sustaining smoke damage.
A spokesperson for the fire and rescue service stated that cause is as yet unknown, there are not believed to be any casualties and an investigation is ongoing.
The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust had a call from the fire and rescue service at 11.08pm regarding the fire on Albert Place in Colwyn Bay but were not required to attend.

Well the garage would be closed at that time, suspicious, hope Colwyn Bay is not getting like Wrexham!
