The woman in her 50s was transferred to hospital in Stoke after initially being taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd

A woman who sustained “life-threatening injuries” when she was hit by a van has been transferred to hospital in Stoke.
North Wales Police said the local woman, who is in her 50s, was initially taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor after she was hit by a van at about 1.20pm yesterday on Clarence Road in Llandudno.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “A woman remains in hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries following a collision in Llandudno yesterday afternoon.
“Shortly before 1:30pm, North Wales Police received a report by the ambulance service of a collision involving a van and a pedestrian on Clarence Road.
“The local woman, who is aged in her 50s, was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance, but has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke with injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.
“An investigation is underway and anybody who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit in St Asaph on 101, quoting reference number S172234.”
