The 25-year-old man was assaulted at the Lounge Bar in High Street in the early hours of November 1

A man suffered serious facial injuries in an attack at a Gwynedd bar.

Police are hunting for the 25-year-old’s attacker after he was assaulted in the upstairs bar of the Lounge Bar on High Street in Bangor.

Investigating officer PC Dan Smith of North Wales Police said: “At about 2am on Sunday, November 1, a 25-year-old man was assaulted in the Lounge Bar on High Street, Bangor, causing serious facial injuries.

“He was attacked close to the upstairs bar and I would like to hear from anyone who was present to help us piece together exactly what happened.
