A SON has appeared in court charged with the murder of his own mother.
Mark Stephens, 43, is charged with killing Rita Stephens, 67, at her home in Pencoed, near Bridgend, on June 19.
At Cardiff Crown Court today Stephens pleaded not guilty to murder, as well as charges of making threats to kill and assaulting another man, Paul Griffiths.
Mr Stephens lived with his mother in Glan yr Afon, Pencoed.

Is this the same guy who killed "Stephen Courts" at "Gors Avenue, Townhill Swansea", Several years ago? If so he was convicted of Manslaughter for Knifing him !!! There has been more incidents with him since. If he is found guilty he needs to be locked up for life.
