A man caught up in a caravan fire on Anglesey was this afternoon described as being in a “poorly but stable” condition.
Firefighters were called to the burning static caravan just after midnight to the scene near the High Street, Bryngwran.
The 47 year-old man was initially taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd before he was later transferred to Whiston Hospital, Merseyside.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed specialist fire investigation officers were at the scene of this morning’s blaze, trying to establish the cause.
A spokesperson for Whiston Hospital confirmed the man had been transferred there today.
He said: “I can confirm a male patient arrived in ITU today. His condition is described as poorly but stable.”
