Barry Winters denies breaking in to the Seacroft Hotel

A man who denies two charges of burglary will stand trial early next year.
Barry Winters from Holyhead is accused of burglary at the Seacroft Hotel in Trearddur Bay near Holyhead on August 27 this year when a significant amount of cash was taken.
He also faces a charge of attempted burglary at the same hotel two days later.
Winters is also charged with stealing a purse and its contents in a burglary at a house in Ravenspoint Road, Trearddur Bay , on August 31.
He denied all three charges and a charge of going equipped for theft when he appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court for a plea hearing.
Winters admitted a charge of burglary at the Trearddur Bay Hotel on September 7 and possessing a quantity of cannabis resin, an illegal drug, on the same date.
Flanked by security guards, the 38-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and to enter his pleas during the hearing.
Judge Gaynor Lloyd adjourned the case for trial, which is expected to last two days, until next February. The judge ordered the trial be held at Mold Crown Court.
There was no application for bail and Winters was remanded in custody.
