A 48-year-old man has died after being stabbed last night

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was knifed to death in a car park.
Emergency services were called to the Rhyl Home Bargains car park in Marsh Road just before 7.30pm yesterday.
A 48-year-old man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd but later died.
The man, who was in a white Renault Kango van, was stabbed by offenders who were travelling in a black 4x4 vehicle.
Police have said the murder is a “truly shocking incident” and are appealing for witnesses.
A statement by North Wales Police said: “Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died following an incident in Rhyl last night October 27.
“Officers were called at 7.24pm to reports of a stabbing incident at a car park in Marsh Road Rhyl.
“Officers and paramedics arrived quickly at the location and began to treat a local 48 year old man who later sadly died at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd."The statement added: “It is understood a white Renault Kango van drove onto the car park followed by a black 4x4 vehicle.
“The offenders were seen to get out of the black vehicle and assault the passenger in the Renault before making off.”
Today, police officers remain on the scene and the car park has been taped off.
The store will remain closed “temporarily” as police continue their investigation.
A spokesman for Home Bargains said: “The Rhyl store is temporarily closed and we are cooperating with police during this time. The store will reopen once they have concluded their investigations.”
DCI Jason Devonport said: “This was a truly shocking incident in which a man has lost his life. I am appealing for any witnesses, or to anyone who may have information that could assist our inquiry to call police immediately on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 quoting reference U1637636.”
