North Wales Police investigating after man implied he had a knife in Bernard Road area of the town
A suspicious man approached a woman in her home made suggestive comments and implied he had a knife yesterday evening.
North Wales Police are looking into the incident at the Bernard Road area of Wrexham at 5.45pm on Wednesday.
The woman, 23, was confronted by a man at her address.
He made sexually suggestive comments and implied he was armed with a blade.
No weapon was seen and the victim was unharmed.
The man is described by police as being white, in his mid-twenties, 5.8” -5.9” tall, of slim build, clean shaven with short dark hair.
Det Chief Inspector Neil Harrison said: “Such reports are rare, however, the incident has caused a great deal of trauma to the victim.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen a male fitting the description in the area of Bernard Road yesterday afternoon to report it to the police.
“Officers will be in the area throughout today making enquires and providing reassurance to the public.”
