Five people have been arrested during drug raids across North Wales and Merseyside.
The North West Regional organised crime unit TITAN executed search warrants today and are holding the five on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs and money laundering.
They included a 50-year-old man from Prestatyn and a 38-year-old man, a 25-year-old man, a 38-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman all from Huyton in Merseyside.
A statement released by Merseyside Police on behalf of TITAN said: “The North West Regional organised crime unit (TITAN) has today arrested five people after executing search warrants across Merseyside and North Wales in relation to the suspected supply of Class A drugs and money laundering.
“A 38-year-old man, a 25-year-old man, a 26-year-old woman, and a 38-year-old man, all from Huyton, Merseyside and a 50 year old man from Prestatyn, North Wales, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs and money laundering.
“The four men and one women have been taken to police stations in Merseyside and North Wales where they will be interviewed by detectives.”
