Llanelli,South Wales - Murder trial hears body chopped up with an axe and saw before being incinerated at Llanelli house

Five people are on trial at Swansea Crown Court over the death of Polish national Mariusz Majewski
A BODY found in a Llanelli garden had been chopped up with an axe and saw before being incinerated, a jury has heard.
When scenes of crime experts examined the rear of the house all they found were small fragments of charred bones in a specially constructed fire pit — and further burnt remains in a black bin bag hidden in a shed.
Inside the property they found blood stains — as well extensive evidence of attempts to clean the walls and floor with bleach.
The gruesome details of what police found at the house in Felinfoel were presented to the jury at Swansea Crown Court on the second day of the trial of those accused of murdering Polish national Mariusz Majewski.
Phillip Hudson-Jones and Adrian Iwanowski deny murdering the 31-year-old, while another three people — Adam Goodwin, Jason Henderson and Sophie Jones — deny a charge of assisting an offender by acting to conceal a body.

Pleasant View in Felinfoel
It is the prosecution's case that Mr Majewski was killed by Hudson-Jones in the days after the victim and fellow Pole Iwanowski had had a falling out which ended in an assault.
Elwen Evans QC, for the prosecution, today told the jury about text and Facebook messages between Hudson-Jones and Iwanowski and Iwanowski's brother in which he referred to "clearing the debt with interest" and somebody having "paid for what he did".
Miss Evans said Hudson-Jones and Iwanowski subsequently tried to cover their tracks by deleting texts and messages, and wiping data from their phones.
The prosecution say both men were then "actively involved" in burning Mr Majeswski's remains in a specially constructed fire pit in the back garden of Hudson-Jones' terraced property.
The court heard that on November 10 last year armed police went to the Pleasant View property and forced entry.
Miss Evans said that inside the property — which smelt strongly of bleach — police and forensic experts found evidence of blood on walls and carpet in the livingroom and on a sofa, as well as signs that stains had been removed from the walls.
In the freezer in the kitchen — a room which was dirty and littered with dog faeces and mouldy food — they found around 200 grams of amphetamine.
Throughout the house they found tools including saws, hammers, an axe, and angle-grinder and a chain saw, and in an upstairs room they found gaffer tape with blood and finger print evidence linking it to Hudson-Jones and to the victim.
The court heard that in the garden they found a fire pit containing small fragments of burnt bones — which showed signed of cut and saw marks — and further charred remains in a bag in a shed.
Miss Evans told the jury a forensic examination concluded the remains showed "signs of dismemberment followed by destruction by fire".
DNA recovered from the burst bone fragments were linked to the blood samples found inside the house, and then compared with Mr Majewski's parents.
Hudson-Jones, aged 45, of Pleasant View, Felinfoel, Llanelli, Iwanowski, aged 21, now of Station Road, Llanelli, Goodwin, aged 37, of Caeglas, Cross Hands, Henderson, aged 44, of Foelgastell near Brechfa, and 18-year-old Sophie Jones of Clos St Paul, Llanelli, all deny the charges against them.
