POLICE in Swansea are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery on city cycle path
The incident took place the Tawe riverside path - near the Beaufort Road footbridge and Virgin Media call centre - just before 5pm on Friday, April 1.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said the victim sustained minor injuries, while the suspect is believed to have been left with blood on his face.
The police spokesman said the suspect is aged in his early 20s, with light brown hair, and was wearing a hooded top. He made-off towards the Liberty Stadium on a bicycle following the incident.
