A 15-year-old girl has appeared in court accused of carrying out a robbery at a Llandudno Junction store.
The teenager, who cannot be named, appeared at Prestatyn magistrates’ court with a co-defendant, Darren Joseph Robert Pomeroy, 19, who is originally from Henryd, Conwy.
They are accused of robbing Mathew Mangara John, who runs an off-licence and newsagent’s shop in Conwy Road, Llandudno Junction, on March 4 and taking cash, tobacco and alcohol worth £193.
Pomeroy, who also faces a charge of possessing an offensive weapon, a pipe wrench, was remanded in custody and the girl was bailed. Both will appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on May 23.
